We imagine The Hive is going to be a great place
to gather, relax and share whilst taking positive action towards creating a
better world. Planting a beautiful, healthy and productive garden filled with
food is one of the most creative and peaceful ways to sustain individual,
community and planetary health.

a Mid Richmond community garden
Location of community garden - Grounds of the Evans
Head Scout Hall, 22 Mangrove Street, Evans Head
The Hive community garden will be designed,
implemented, managed and maintained by the Mid Richmond community. This project
will create opportunity for learning and exchange. Skills and information will
be shared and the space will enable people to grow some of their own food at a
relatively low cost. Community activities and workshops will be held for all
community members.
This project will provide a meeting place, bringing
together diverse aspects of our local communities whilst contributing to food
security in the Mid Richmond.
Fresh food for all!!!
